What are you supporting?
A great night out for you means you can support the performers you love by offering touring actors and crew a place to come home to, for actors and crew who can struggle to find safe, suitable and affordable accommodation on tour. Matt Henry’s own experiences as a young touring actor inspired him to establish The Actors House, a social start-up providing high-quality, affordable places to stay for theatre professionals working away from home. Its first property in Bradford has already demonstrated the demand. Christmas Songbook will launch a £100,000 fundraising campaign to help fund the next house and support future growth. The event will also create opportunities for emerging performers, young musicians, writers and production interns — helping the next generation gain experience alongside established talent.
